The Anatomical Theater of the Humboldt University of Berlin, built by Carl Gotthard Langhans, has a ground floor, a basement floor and an upper floor with a cupola hall.
In several construction phases, the dome and the flat roof were renovated, the existing roof truss construction was repaired according to a historical model and static-constructive measures were carried out in the interior.
Beyond its status as a monument, the Anatomical Theatre is today an exhibition space and stage for experimental forms of representation and a laboratory for curatorial practices.
