We were commissioned with the construction of a new single-family house with a timber frame.

The residential building was integrated into the existing buildings as an inner-city gap closure in the district of Weißensee. The existing original cellar was uncovered and renovated within the framework of the new building project and used as a basement for the residential building.

Our services included shell and timber construction work as well as partial finishing work, in particular drywall construction and joinery, roofing and roof plumbing work.

The new building was constructed using an ecologically modern timber frame construction method, with the individual wall elements being prefabricated in the company's own production facility. This lead time made it possible to shorten the actual construction time in comparison to traditional buildings.

The required air tightness of the building was successfully measured using the Blower Door Test, a differential pressure measurement method used to detect leaks in the building envelope and determine the actual air exchange rate.
