The existing residential building of HoWoGe dates from the Gründerzeit. The building is a 3-storey rental house with 2 staircases. The side wings are developed by intermediate landings, these are shifted half-storey.
Through the expansion of the attic two new residential units were created per staircase.
We were commissioned to carry out the demolition, carpentry and roofing work.
The existing roof truss construction had to be completely removed and rebuilt due to the strong worm infestation. It was adapted to the new floor plans for the extended living space requirements.
A wood-concrete composite construction was chosen to stabilise the existing wooden beam ceiling in the attic.
Here you can find further information about our ceilings in wood-concrete composite. We would also be pleased to carry out high-quality roofing & roof plumbing work for you.
